Svea Mining holds two exploration permits (undersökningstillstånd) in Västerbotten County, northern Sweden, covering a combined area of approximately 7,500 hectares, situated within or on the margin of the Skellefteå mining district, a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system with over a century of gold, copper and silver production.
Svea Mining's exploration approach is systematic, staged, and cost-efficient. The Company has now completed its inaugural field exploration program across both properties, incorporating systematic soil sampling, rock chip and grab sampling of all accessible outcrop and mineralised float, strict chain of custody sample management, and ongoing geological mapping. The objective of the next phase is to define drill-ready targets based on the geochemical and geological data returned.
The Company has engaged EurGeol Jyri Meriläinen and P.Eng. Mathieu Gosselin of Gosselin Mining AB to lead its exploration programs, both of whom bring extensive experience in Scandinavian geology and mineral exploration.
Cautionary Note: Exploration for minerals is speculative in nature, involves significant financial risks, and there is no assurance that expenditures will result in discoveries of commercial quantities of ore. Historical results discussed herein have not been independently verified by the Company and are not necessarily indicative of future results.
